Event Details

SCDA events provide the HRM Driving Enthusiast, the chance to enjoy his or her HRM sports car, exotic or sports sedan on some of the best tracks in the Northeast. Participants can expect four on track drive sessions and two classroom sessions at each event. One on one in car instruction is available for Novice Drivers at most SCDA events. We welcome all HRM drivers and look forward to a safe, fun and thrilling 2010 track season.

Monticello Motor Club
The SCDA is pleased to announce that we have the exclusive privilege of utilizing the FULL 3.5 Mile Monticello Track configuration on May 17, July 26 and October 4. The SCDA track event at Monticello is open to all level drivers, from Novice through Advanced. Professional Flaggers will be working this event, and participants can expect four on track drive sessions, one on one Instruction if needed and two Classroom Sessions. Monticello Motor Club is located in Monticello, New York. The facility opened in the summer of 2008, and the feedback from those that have already driven at this circuit has been superb. In an effort to provide maximum levels of safety, quality, and fun at our events, the SCDA will provide trained and certified SCCA flaggers at the corner stations. This ensures that our drivers can focus on one thing- improving their driving skills. A limited number of race winning Spec Miata rental cars are available for this event. New Jersey Motorsports Park
This world class facility opened up to rave reviews in 2008. This motorsports venue is very unique in that it hosts not one, but two completely independent road courses. Thunderbolt Raceway is 2.25 miles, and challenges drivers of all skill levels. Equally fast and exciting is NJMP's Lightning Raceway. Lightning Raceway is ultra fast, 1.9 miles in length, with ample run off areas. Drivers can expect lots of track time on these two new exciting tracks! Lime Rock Park
This 1.53 facility is a roller coaster ride that deserves its nickname as the Road Racing Center of the East. New Hampshire International Speedway
NHMS is located in Loudon, New Hampshire, about an hour north of Boston. This unique facility is a 1.6 mile road course that utilizes both permanent road course, as well as Nascar Oval sections. Furthermore, there are some dramatic elevation changes that keep drivers of all ability levels on their toes. The facilities at NHMS are first rate, and the track surface is smooth as glass. Watkins Glen International
Watkins Glen, located at the southern tip of Lake Seneca in Watkins Glen, New York is one of the premier permanent road courses in North America. This first class 3.5 mile facility hosted the United States Grand Prix for many years, and now the track is one of two road courses that Nascar Nextel Cup races on. Drivers can expect FIVE x 30 Minute Sessions Each Day! This is the same track that drivers from Jeff Gordon to Jackie Stewart have driven on! In addition, Watkins Glen has been added to the Indy Racing schedule, reinforcing its position as one of the world's premier racing circuits.
